Extremism, Society and Media – what we can do to prevent current events like the “Charlie Hebdo” attack

Love-XThe current “Charlie Hebdo” attacks in France shocked many of us. Due to the events we are planning a trendtalk on the topic extremism and society (and media as its forum and mirror).

A trendtalk with expert speaker panel to discuss these aspects and even negative Trends on 5th February 2015 in Hamburg.

Now there are many questions of understanding in media and also in several discussions on these shocking attacks and what the reasons had been for these terrorists. How could people come up to such extreme actions? Why would men act so very irrational? And currently in relation to these extremists Germany also are discussing the “Pegida”-protests in some cities by some people (a very small political group, as it seems – or is it so?) who express their fear of islamisation and loss of nationak identity and power.

Because of this trendquest will discuss these actual topics at next trendtalk in Hamburg on 5th of February 2015. Because the right wa is to find positive answers and solutions. To recognise and explain subconscious moods and fears and tohelp transform these to positive activities.

We are currently doing research for possible speakers, experts and panelists as well as for input and facts for discussion and trend background. What is it we could do different than others maybe in historical similar events if there were any? And haven’t we all as people on earth, in Europe, in Germany always a grouped community, a conglomerate of several tribes and groups living together? (e.g. as this map may show ->  Germanen_50_n._Chr )

These are some of our first thoughts while preparing the coming trendtalk. If you would like to help, please feel free, you are very welcome! Just write a comment here below or send us a note via contect form.

Thank you
